Prompt 1:

How are you truly doing this holiday season? Do you find yourself thriving in the chaos? Or craving the stillness?

What do you gain from the chaos? From the stillness?


Prompt 2:

How are you adjusting your expectations of yourself? Of others?

What are you taking responsibility for that possibly doesn’t belong to you? What would it be like to let go of that responsibility?


Prompt 3:

How are you navigating the season without alcohol to "slow" you down? What are the downsides to slowing down with alcohol? How else can you give yourself permission to slow down without it?

Ideas: a slow stroll outside, wrapped in a warm blanket and a good book, a heart-warming or even heart-wrenching movie (a great way to allow yourself to cry if you need that release), gazing at the light of a candle or fireplace, a hand to your heart.
